Visiting Miami’s beautiful beaches is highly recommended, or at the very least you’ll want to grab a bite to eat or cold drink along Collins Avenue in South Beach and observe the unique beach culture of the city for a while. There are lots of museums, attractions, shopping districts, sports, cultural diversions and naturally beautiful spots to visit too.
Here are four of the city’s top attractions that you’ll want to squeeze into your Miami itinerary:

My Sister and I are thinking of going back to Disneyland in December and back East for the Fall Colors in 2015.M. Thomas
The rental was the best. I made my arrangements by phone. When I arrived at the Disney Hotel, I stopped at the Bell desk and picked up my scooter. When we were finished with our stay just parked it at the Bell desk.
It made my trip so effortless. I will do this again.D. Brown

It was wonderful to be able to get around so easily.
Sometimes when it is really crowded people get inpatient with us. But the majority of people are kind. Having the use of a scooter makes it a lot of fun and easier to keep up with the grankids.P. Lockwood
Excellent assistance when making the reservation. It was delivered as promised and fully charged.
Very happy with the service!!V. Thomas

Spending time at South Beach is fun, and offers some of the greatest people watching opportunities of any city anywhere. South Beach is where the beautiful people come to strut their stuff in designer duds, and come to see and be seen. That said, you don’t have to be super wealthy or a super model to enjoy South Beach – all are welcome. Known for its splendid art deco architecture and beautiful hotels, South Beach is a great neighbourhood to explore and offers many cool photo opportunities. There are lots of fun restaurants and bars to enjoy at South Beach too.
The boardwalk that runs along South Beach is accessible, and you’ll find accessible parking in the area too. Most shops, restaurants and attractions are committed to being fully accessible, and interestingly the beach itself is also accessible in several areas through the use of beach wheelchairs that are available to rent and ride along the waterfront on. Parts of the beach are even covered with a carpet material, which is wheelchair accessible.
Visiting the Everglades National Park offers a huge range of opportunities to get close to wild Florida. Yes you can go out on boats and see alligators, but there are also spots in the park that offer manatee encounters, and chances to see turtles, crocodiles, and Florida panthers. Everglades National Park is a World Heritage Site, and a must see during a visit to Miami (as well as being a complete contrast to the hustle and bustle of the city).
This park is huge, spanning more than 1.5 million acres, so renting an electric scooter or wheelchair in advance of your visit will ensure you see as much of the park as possible. Everglades National Park works hard to make the park accessible to everyone by offering a variety of accessible facilities, services and programs including camping, boating and tours.
Housing more than 3000 animals spread out over 100 exhibits, Zoo Miami is a very popular attraction. Home to pretty much every large mammal you can think of, as well as an impressive collection of amphibians, birds, reptiles and more, there’s so much to ooh and ahh over at Zoo Miami. You’ll also find attractions such as camel rides, a safari tram tour, children’s zoo, giraffe feeding station, and other unique experiences to enjoy when you’re there. There are always fun events happening at the zoo (such as breakfasts with the animals) so be sure to check the events schedule when planning your trip.
There’s a lot of ground to cover at Zoo Miami – it spans 740 acres. Getting all the way around the zoo can take up to four hours so an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure you enjoy as much of the zoo as you want to see. All exhibits, concessions, and modes of transportation are accessible to those with mobility issues.
If you want to get close to aquatic animals, then Miami Seaquarium is an attraction that you won’t want to miss as it has dolphins, whales, seals, sea-lions, and many more fabulous inhabitants. This entertainment park has eight different marine animal shows and astonishing daily presentations, and offers experiences such as seal swims, dolphin encounters, VIP tours where you meet iguanas, macaws, stingrays and sea-lions. Seaquarium is located on a tropical paradise type island in the heart of the city, and is a truly lovely place to visit.
The Miami Seaquarium is almost entirely wheelchair accessible and has wheelchair seating for the marine animal shows. Spanning 38-acres, an electric scooter or wheelchair will ensure you see as much of the Seaquarium as possible and not be held back by any mobility issues that you might have.
